Wildly grown and foraged in the Hindu Kush Mountains of Afghanistan. Also known as black cumin (Bunium persicum), black caraway and Kala jeera in Hindi but not to be confused with Nigella sativa. This seed is slightly floral, fresh and piney with nutty and peppery notes. This spice is naturally organic and has been growing wild and harvested for centuries by people in Afghanistan and India.
