Baked Chicken Shawarma

Equipment :

Ingredients

  • 2 lb chicken thigh
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 tsp Spice Tribe Wild Cured Sumac
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp allspice

Steps

  • Cut chicken diagonally into 1/2 inch strips
  • Add all spices
  • Mix well and put in the refrigerate
  • Heat oven to 425
  • Lay chicken on a baking sheet
  • Drizzle with olive oil
  • Put in the oven for 30 minutes and flip halfway through
  • When fully cooked, take out and let it rest for at least 10 minutes
  • Assemble sandwich with fresh pita, garlic sauce, and/or purple onions, tomatoes, parsley, turnip pickle
