When you think about it, cooking is giving. Sure, you can prepare a delicious meal and savor it all by yourself, but it’s so much better when you’re able to share it with others.
Giving back is a fundamental part of our ideology here at Spice Tribe. We do this in four different ways:
We don’t want anyone in our community to go hungry. We partner with The City Eats, a non-profit organization dedicated to feeding the homeless population in the Bay Area. Each month, we cook more than 1,000 meals.
The practice of mindfulness—in cooking and in life—has made a huge difference for us on a very personal level. We take every opportunity to share what we’ve learned about healthy food and mindful cooking because we believe it has the potential to improve your well-being, too.
We are passionate about supporting small farmers all over the world who practice regenerative methods of working with the land.
We believe small farmers should make a sustainable living. That’s why we pay better-than-fair-trade wages for their spices.
If you would like to donate to help offset our food costs for the meals we cook for the homeless, we appreciate any amount you can give. 100% of your donations—as well as a portion of the proceeds from every sale we make—feeds hungry people.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
