Thai Style Pork Lettuce Cups

Ingredients: 

  • 1 lb Ground Pork
  • 2 tbsp Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Ginger, minced
  • 2 pcs Thai chilis, sliced
  • 1 bunch Scallions, sliced (separate white part from green part)
  • 1 tbsp Long-Tail Sunset Thai Blend
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • Cilantro
  • Peanuts
  • Olive oil
  • Butter lettuce leaves

Thai Style Pork Lettuce Cups

Directions:

  1. Mix Long-Tail Sunset Thai Blend and ground pork; set aside.
  2. Over medium-high heat warm up a large frying pan. Add the 2 tbsp olive oil, garlic, and ginger, and let it fry until fragrant without burning.
  3. Add the beef and cook for 5 minutes until browned, making sure to break apart any lumps with a spatula or wooden spoon. 
  4. Add Soy sauce, Honey, Vinegar, Thai Chilis and white scallions; cook for another 5 minutes until the beef gets crispy.
  5. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  6. Spoon some ground beef into the cups and garnish with cilantro, green scallion and chopped peanuts for garnish 

For Dipping Sauce:

  • Combine rice vinegar and sugar to dissolve, then add the rest of the ingredients
